May C. Fu, Ph. D, is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Ethnic Studies at the University of San Diego. Her research examines Asian American community organizing during the 1960s and 1970s and explores the panethnic, interracial, and international affiliations that shaped Asan American radicalism.
She teachers classes on the comparative histories of racialized groups, womyn of color feminisms, race and social movements, and Asian American radicalism. She has worked with grassroots organizations around transformative justice, community accountability, educational justice, and womyn and transfolks of color against violence.
