OUR VOICES HAVE BEEN HEARD: “Asian Bar Crawl” in San Diego is no longer a costume party!

WE DID IT! Because of the outpouring of support, the organizer of the Asian Bar Crawl has decided to get rid of the costume party portion of the event and made some additional changes (stated in her letter).

Although the event is still not perfect, we have decided to no longer boycott it, and we look forward to continuing the conversation with the event organizer so that we can prevent something like this from happening in San Diego again.

Thank you everyone who made this possible! We would also like to acknowledge all the organizations who supported us in this effort:

Asian and Pacific Islander Student Alliance at the University of California San Diego
