LISC San Diego seeks a Program Officer to provide strategic and implementation support for its BSC Initiative, managing and expanding its Family Income and Wealth Building program, support the advancement of our Economic Development/Commercial Corridor Revitalization program, and provide strategic support to our local office Lending Program priorities. The individual hired to fill this position will be expected to provide financial and technical assistance to neighborhood partner organizations; strengthen partnerships among community-based organizations, anchor institutions, and other corporate, civic and public sector organizations; build and maintain consensus among different constituencies; and advocate for policy and system innovations. 
. Coordinate and oversee performance of the Financial Opportunities Centers (FOC) network, including developing and maintaining detailed knowledge of the various organizations and stakeholders involved in the FOC network, providing programmatic design and management of build-out programs that include an Occupational Skills Initiatives and Financial Products Program, technical assistance related to the utilization of program tracking software (Efforts to Outcome), and the identification of best practices related to FOCs.
. Implement and expand commercial corridor revitalization efforts in key neighborhood districts. Work with community organizations to connect businesses to technical assistance and financing, share best practices and facilitate business owners¡¦ participation.
. Provide additional support to activities related to real estate lending as needed.
. Provide oversight and management with various federal and private funding sources ¡V responsibilities will include but not limited to grants and contract management, such as financial audits and reviews, preparing, monitoring, and tracking contractual outcome obligations, and submission of grantee reports to multiple funding partners in a timely manner. 
. Identify prospective funding opportunities and prepare funding proposals, applications, reports, presentations, and tours as required by funders, investors, LISC National and others.
. Develop a solid and respectful working relationship with the neighborhood partner organizations and grantees. Maintain an in-depth knowledge of their organizational conditions, programs and projects. 
. Identify and sustain good working relationships with local governmental agencies that are positioned to assist and support LISC¡¦s work.
. Provide technical assistance to neighborhood partner organizations and other program participants to ensure effective implementation of programs, as well as work closely with LISC National programs and departments to provide additional technical assistance and resources to local partners as necessary.
. Prepare and manage program budgets, in consultation with the Executive Director and staff. Assume responsibility for special projects and other assignments, as needed.

JOB OPENING | City Heights Prep

City Heights Prep has two part time positions open.
Assistant to Program Director of After School Program.  We have an active after school program on our campus, and it’s growing!  We need someone to assist our program director.  This job is direct supervision of 20+ students as they participate in a variety of after school activities (art, music, yoga, etc.)  This position requires a passion for, and some prior experience, working with adolescents/teenagers; hours are 3:15 to 6:30, Monday through Friday.
Admissions and Office Clerk.  This position assists in our front office and includes a wide variety of general office support, as well as tasks associated with daily, weekly, and monthly attendance reporting.  This position also schedules and conducts enrollment meetings with parents and new students.  It requires some prior experience in office/administrative positions and conversational Spanish.  This position is 25-30 hours per week.
About City Heights Prep
Our mission is to provide an excellent neighborhood based and college preparatory education for middle and high school students in City Heights.  It is our vision to see City Heights Prep graduates succeed in the college or university of their choice and poised to become community leaders who work for positive change in City Heights and beyond.
We currently have 65 students in grades 6 and 7, and we’ll have 6th through 8th grades starting in September.  Our students reflect the diverse demographics of City Heights; many families are immigrants or refugees, and some of our students are English language learners.  All of them qualify for free breakfast and lunch.

ACTION | Enroll Before March 31st

As you know, we’re just a few weeks away from March 31st, which marks the end of the enrollment period for individuals to sign up for health insurance through the Affordable Care Act.

This is a big, big deal for the AAPI community (here’s why). We need your help to get the word out so we can raise awareness in the community and help community health organizations and health centers get members of our community enrolled.
